DesignLumo Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using DesignLumo, you represent that you meet this requirement and will comply with applicable laws.

2. Account Registration and Security

You may need an account to access some features. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials confidential.
• All activities under your account.
• Providing accurate account information.

3. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

DesignLumo may offer subscription plans and/or credit-based usage.

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
• You may cancel anytime.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation, Access, and Credits

When you cancel:

• You keep paid access until the end of your current billing period.
• After the billing period, your access is downgraded to the applicable plan.
• Credit behavior (including pro-rating, rollover, limits, and expiration) is governed by your current plan details shown on the plan/subscription page.

5. Refund Policy (7-Day Window)

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

Refund outcomes depend on usage:

• Low usage (generally up to ~30% of paid usage): may qualify for full refund.
• Moderate usage (generally ~30% to ~50%): may qualify for partial refund.
• High usage (generally above ~50%): generally not eligible for full refund and may be declined.

For partial refunds, DesignLumo may deduct costs related to AI/computation and service operation. Refund decisions are made in good faith using internal usage records and anti-abuse checks.

6. User Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of designs and assets you create, subject to rights granted in these Terms.

7. Content Rights by Plan Type

• Free plan: You grant DesignLumo a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, reuse, and showcase your generated designs for product, portfolio, and marketing purposes.
• Paid plan: DesignLumo does not publicly share your designs. Your content may still be processed to provide the Service, including with model providers and anonymized workflows where applicable.

8. Human Review and Operational Access

DesignLumo may review prompts, designs, chats, design requests, usage history, and related logs for:

• Support and troubleshooting.
• Quality assurance and service improvement.
• Safety, abuse prevention, and policy enforcement.

This review is not limited to flagged content. Access is limited to legitimate operational purposes.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to replicate core service functionality.
• Use the Service for illegal or abusive activity.
• Interfere with service integrity or other users.
• Scrape or misuse the Service at scale without authorization.

10. Third-Party Providers

The Service may rely on third-party providers (including AI/model, hosting, payments, and analytics providers). Use of such providers may be necessary to deliver service features.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. DesignLumo does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific output quality.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DesignLumo is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

13. Termination

DesignLumo may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, legal risk, or security reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, subject to applicable law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after updates become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DesignLumo operates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
